Who doesn’t love travelling means visiting new places, getting to know new cultures, observing the beauty of this blue orb we live in up close. But 1 needs an earning for living and here’s a petty good job with decent wages for which the qualifications required is that you should have passed 12th grade .

The job

I’m talking about being a crew & cabin member in airplanes / flight attendant the job’s petty much about looking good and attractive, staying fit and attending the passengers. 

Qualifications 

In order to qualify for being a flight attendant you need to tall approx 5’5″ for males and 5’2″ for females, have a weight in right proportion to your height and should have passed 12th grade. 

Earning prospects 

In United States 

Flight attendants usually earn hourly wages based on the experience that they have accumulated over the years. For a beginner flight attendant, the salary starts from $19 an hour, earning less than $18,000 per year in the United States. 


Salaries usually vary, with the most experienced flight attendants earning $42 per hour with an average yearly salary of more than $83,000. Most flight attendants however fall in the $32 per hour and, between $28, 000-$56, 000 per year ranges.

In India

A flight attendant is paid according to her experience and the airline she works for. A fresher may earn Rs. 20,000 and Rs. 25,000 per month. A head flight attendant can earn up to Rs. 50,000 per month. Major international airlines pay Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 1 lakh per month. This can differ from organisation to organisation, and the number of hours one clocks per month.

Flight attendants for some airlines are offered extra wages for working on holidays or for taking on positions with additional responsibility. Flight attendants and their immediate family are legible for discounted or free air travel on their own airlines and discounted travel on other airlines.
